Red Devils retain the Carling Cup thanks to goals from Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney. Aston Villa will certainly question Phil Dowd decision not to send off or even book Nemanja Vidic for the foul that led to the penalty. Anyway, Manchester United were the better side and win is fully deserved.
